Years ago, when I was in my early twenties, I got pretty darn sick. Up till that time, I pretty much ate the basic SAD Diet (Standard American Diet). I never really gave it much thought. I mean, hamburgers, pizza and ice cream… what could be wrong with that? I think I knew deep down it was bad for me, but the thought of giving it all up seemed just not worth it. But, when I got really really sick, and I couldn’t seem to get better, then I suddenly became more teachable. I guess pain and failure are great tools to get us to become humble and open minded right? It was out of desperation that I started looking at WHAT I ATE and how it affected my body, my mind, and my emotions. Wow… was it an eye opener. My whole paradigm shifted on a dime. I am very grateful for my health failures as they have taught me so very much. I realized I had to become a student of my life. I had to dig deep, ask questions, and make changes.

 

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

Just because the majority of society is doing something does that mean it is right for YOU and is best for YOU? We are in charge of OUR lives. We are responsible for our own bodies health. Once I realized that the decisions I made had a huge impact on how I felt, I wanted to learn more. It became exciting for me to talk to people that knew more than I knew… and who had a deep understanding about how to TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR OWN HEALTH. Learning about health and making healthy choices can actually become strangely addicting – but in a positive way! KNOWLEDGE IS A KEY THAT WILL OPEN YOUR LIFE TO TRUTHS THAT WILL BRING YOU A BETTER LIFE.

 

ITS EASY, SOMETIMES FREE, AND CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

Getting knowledge these days can be pretty easy! The internet alone has put more information at our fingertips than we could only have imagined only a decade or so ago! Some of you have probably had some great stories about how you suddenly changed your lives and turned them around by learning some new truth. Maybe someone entered your life and lead you to a healthier and saner place. Maybe it was a book. We’d love to hear your stories. For me, I have my heroes that helped me, taught me. Books that helped me UNDERSTAND the principles of health so I wasn’t just figuring out by trial and error. SO, this tip is about the truth that you MUST put some energy into educating yourself on THE PRINCIPLES of what will MAKE YOU A HEALTHIER, HAPPIER PERSON. Read books. Listen to talks. Go online. Visit Dancing Carrots often! (we appreciate it! 🙂 Then, once your life is healthy, you can turn around and bless others with what you have learned and become.
